Is This Any Good...

I love the first one... but is this any good?

Well, the important thing to keep in mind is that this isn't really a sequel, but rather more of a supplement to the original film. It's mostly concert footage with low-quality interviews throughout. There are some good gags during the concert, but it can get a bit boring if you're not really into it. I do think that this movie is worth it, though, if not for any other reason than Nigel's idea for a foldable wine glass.

I agree, this is pretty good, only if you enjoy their songs and mis-haps a lot. I purchased a guns and roses video similar to this before, which was just songs at live performances. If you are into their music you'll like it a lot, they do a few acoustic songs, and at some parts it cuts from the live footage to show some pre-recorded things, such as david and nigel re-visiting places where the band "first played" , derek and his dad showing their family business (phone cleaning?) anyways it's good if you've seen the first movie and are familiar with tap.

This movie doesn't have a plot really, so if you're looking for a true-blue sequel, this isn't it.

One of the funniest parts though is during the song "Diva Fever" Nigel breaks into an incredibly long guitar solo while other band-mates go off stage and relax. I won't give away anything but if you've got a few bucks and want a few laughs this movie isn't that bad.

I have a question, how much of Jamie Lee Curtis and Robin Williams are in this movie. They are my two favorite actors of all time, and I want to know if I should consider seeing or buying this. Thanks

Robin Williams appears for about one minute reminiscing about growing up with Tap's music. Whether you find him funny here will depend very much on your appreciation of dark humour.

I also don't remember Jamie Lee Curtis in the movie.

Jamie Lee Curtis pretty much does the same as Robin Williams and all the other celebrities. I think one of the reasons she was in this is because she's married to Christopher Guest(Nigel)

To be honest, I actually prefer this one, as they are playing more and the songs are really good.
