Chris Rea is Chris Rea

It's just as well that we don't all like the same things, otherwise the world would be pretty a boring place...


I have read the reviews and plus and minus comments by other posters on "Parting Shots", and I would have to say that - in my humble opinion - Michael Winner has come up with another WINNER.

I have been a Chris Rea music fan for over 25 years, and I only purchased the movie because I had never seen him act before. Now that I have seen the movie, I can say that I still haven't seen him "act..."

I find that, as in his music, his personality comes through as "himself". This is also the way he portrays the role of Harry Sterndale in this movie - it's simply Chris Rea playing Chris Rea. I doubt that he would be any different in real life.

The gorgeous Felicity Kendall also helped, with her 'innocent' assistance......
