Has this ever been release on VHS or DVD, in the U.K. or the U.S.? Is it worth seeking out? And for anyone who's seen it, how is Chris Rea's performance?

reply

I'm watching it on tv now, it's bad but hilarious. I'm not quite sure how to describe the acting haha

I just watched it too , and managed to watch it all.
It is pretty bad but funny as well , I notice chris Reah hasn't done much acting since this and it is not all that suprising.

Sounds like he doesn't do much acting in this film either. ;-)

He would be better than a lot of the Eastenders cast :D

Yeah , Olly took the blame for the murders as he had lots of others to be taken into consideration - lol.

Then they were going to name their baby after him.

I tell ya that private Dr was crap I thought the NHS was bad enough.

This was released on rental VHS in the UK by CIC Video in 1999/2000 but has never been released on DVD here. There is a US DVD (fulscreen, though nicely framed) but may now be out of print.

I wish it was on DVD where I live in New Zealand.
