sharewasnt that teh absolute coolest thign ever! Lindsey Buckingham is a freakin amazing guitarist!!
shareI just came on to say EXACTLY the same!! WOW!!!! I was amazed, overwhelmed!! Im a huge fan of that song anyway, but to see it live, and solo was impressive!! I have a newfound respect for Mr. Buckingham
*she goes off to watch it for the nth time*
"The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return."
When it comes to guitar, Lindsay Buckingham is God!
Only thing that even comes close is some of Pink Floyd's Wall material, or perhaps Frampton Comes Alive!
I have fantasies where that's me playing. This song makes me want to learn guitar!
shareLindsey Buckingham would hand it to Jimmy Page, Peter Frampton, Eric Clapton and possibly even Hendrix in skill. I'm sorry, I'm a HUGE Ace Frehley fan but he'd even drill him.
This song is without a doubt the most incredible solo guitar performance, ever. Beyond Ani DiFranco, beyond Page, beyond Hendrix. Beyond anyone at any time
Mr. Buckingham does not recieve the recogonition he deserves.
No kidding. Lindsey Buckingham is incredibly underrated. He is by far amongst the greatest of guitarists.
People reading this should check out his solo albums, especially "Out of the Cradle", to get a full appreciation of this man's talent. He has been critically lauded over and over, albiet commerical success has eluded him, except when he was with Fleetwood Mac.
Out of the cradle is an excellent album which for some insane reason seemed to have been overlooked by the majority of music buying public, When it comes to guitar and songwriting lindsay is a genius whose solo potential has never been appreciated

I dont think "Big Love" on the "Tango in the night" album is any special. But this live version is one of the best songs i ever have heard, the solo is godlike.
shareLindsey is very good on this album, from "Big Love" to "Go Insane" (available only on the DVD/Video version) to "Go Your Own Way" to even other members' songs like his work on "Don't Stop" at the end.
shareThe banjo. That is all.
I don't mean to impose, but I am the Ocean.
