Dead man on campus
how did anybody get away with both of these movies coming out in the same year? Did a bunch of college students around the country try to kill their roommates in 1998? Rediculous
shareIt was just coincidence, as often happens in the crazy world of filmmaking. Rosen was doing stand-up about the suicide/4.0 rule years before (I believe his stand-up routine used at the beginning of the film is from an MTV broadcast he appeared on), and was as shocked as anyone to hear about Dead Man On Campus (which he didn't until he took DMC to Sundance, I think).
