Matthew Lillard is an INCREDIBLE actor ((in my opinion at least)) It's really intersting how he can make a horror/suspense/thriller type movie into a comedy. Like he did in SCREAM and in this one. He did an excellent job in this movie. So did the other characters. What did you guys think about the actors? Do you think they fit there roles?
I like this movie, it's very hard to find, I'm still working on it.
But on a very personal view, Lillard is not one of my favorite actors. All the movies I've seen him in (or most of them) he always plays the psychotic friend who ends being one of the bad guys. The only role that comes to mind at the moment where he plays the 'naive' guy is in "Serial Mom".
Other than that, all cast is ok, but it kind of makes you wonder if it's the 'eye candy' that you feast upon or the actual acting itself.
Panic: Hercules... Why does that name ring a bell? Pain: I don't know. Maybe we owe him money?
Matthew Lillard did a great job in this movie. One of his best roles I've ever seen. He had the character of Tim down to a tee. No one could play him better then Matthew. He's just an amazing actor who doesn't get enough credit for what he does. As for the other characters, the actors did a great job, but I could only thing of Chris as "the teacher from Never Been Kissed." But he still did a great job. Keri Russel also was great. The cast was perfect.
"Corn syrup, the same stuff they used for pig's blood in 'Carrie'"
he got the whole manipulating the situation down. I guess this role is a lot different to Shaggy, kinda similar to his one in Scream though. I cant really say though, I havent watched enough of his films to decide what his acting potential is.
Man he was awesome in Hackers and Senseless. real gem of a actor always gets the most out of any scene he is in :) thats what makes him the most memorable out of the scream trilogy, think about it, everyone remembers him more than pretty much anyone else.
Only Matthew and his shorter haired roomate fit their roles the best.
The felicity chick was ok, but could have done a better job.
The longer haired roomate I think was trying to be like the guy from American Psycho and he was trying to hard and failed in his role, they may as well have asked the guy from American Psycho to be in that role as he would have done a better job at least.
