Am I the only one who thinks it's dumb to use words like 'New' in titles

This show is called "Brand Spanking New! Doug", and there are tonnes of shows that came out in the 80s and 90s called things like "The New Adventures of..." or something similar. Why is this dumb? Well this came out in 1996! Also some of the other shows that did this have had even newer version come out (mercifully not called "The Really New Adventures of..."). It's just silly putting an over zealous "new" in the title, because it just becomes inaccurate far too quickly...

Yeah, I think that's a dumb thing, too. What's more is that there was a show called The New Adventures of Batman, then it got out of date and started making stuff like the Brave and the Bold.
