To be honest... I probably didn't HATE this persay.

I think I was kind of annoyed at how the writers changed too many things from the orginal series, and yes, I understood what they were trying to do, I understood that they were saying that life changes as you grow up, and we can't expect things to stay the same, but they changed far too much in one go.

I didn't hate this version though, I remember it being one of the Saturday Morning shows, and watching it in bed before I got up as a kid - I viewed it as inferior to the original Doug obviously, but I was okay with it.

I didn't have cable, so this version was my intro to the series and I actually kinda like it better then the Nick version. Both versions are good in they're own way though.

I didn't like this version at all and it sucked when we didn't have cable from time to time because I was stuck watching it on Saturday mornings.

Love is a losing game. One I wish I never played.
