What were those green guys with the full body helmets?

I can't find any of my old tapes, but I remember this one episode where Teddy, Grubby, Gimmick and that prince guy save a princess from an army of green cratures with brown helmets that covered their whole face and body, they had long tales and flew those yellow planes and they pronounced "S" like "ssshhh" when they talked, but and I can't remember what those guys were called. It's been buggin' me all day, I keep thinking they were called grunges but I don't think that's it. Can someone help?

They were called Gutangs.

Watch for Teddy Ruxpin on DVD in February, 2006.

J is right, they're Gutangs ... though, physically (you know, their feet and tail) are very Grunge-like (and there were all kinds of Grunges, so they could in fact have been Grunges gone bad).

they are the gutangs.i have no idea what animals they are supposed to be.
personally tweeg is my favorite charachter of the show! :}
