The Big Movie House's Review of Ronin Blu-ray from Arrow Video

Ronin is a film where everything works (acting, cinematography, direction, editing, etc) except for the script. The story is a pretty simple one, but the script takes a long time to tell it. The film could have ended after the big chase scene about an hour and a half in, but goes on for another half hour.

The blu-ray, from Arrow Video, is pretty good. The A/V qualities are demo worthy, especially the audio, but the special features, while numerous, are rather dull. The commentary from the director is really good and saves the special features from being a total wash.
