Major plot hole??

I am not sure about this so bear with me.

Sam asks Deirdre for more money when they are banned from knowing the content of the case. He requests 100 grand in a bank account before the hit and 100 grand after. That is 200 grand, which for 5 people is 1 mil. Later in the movie Deirdre says that "if we had had the money we would have bought the suitcase". When Gregor betrays them and is about to sell the suitcase to the Russians (in the car before he shoots the guy in the head) he is counting money out of a suitacase which seems to contain less than 1 million, which leads me to think that Seamus would have had the kind of cash to purchase the suitcase.

Any view on this?

I think she was saying that they didn't have enough money to buy it from whoever they were initially trying to steal it from. So, after he stole the case and tried to sell it he was obviously going to try and get whatever he could for it even if it wasn't what it's maximum value might be. Like stealing diamonds and going to a pawn shop (or where ever), sure the diamonds might be worth 5x as much- but you're getting a good amount of cash with the least amount of hassle (presumably).

Gregor had his own deal with the Russians. Remember, they had the case made for him, so he was already working for them. So I'm guessing his rate was considerably lower than the rate the original sellers were demanding, else why hire Gregor in the first place?

Considering Seamus later on kills Larry and then drives off, leaving Sam and Vincent behind, it is also probable that he agreed to their new terms and then planned to kill the team without paying the rest as soon as he got the case.

Seamus was lying. He didn't have the money to pay them either (or he just didn't want to spend it).

That is a hole in the plot. If anyone could carry the price of the box in one briefcase, it can't be that much.
