JP. I like him in some things, but not in this. He looks totally incapable of giving the ass-kicking he does half way through (Gregor), and when he runs with a gun it's like when you gave a water pistol to your sister and told her to flank the neighbour kids by running around the house.

Maybe they did that on purpose. The guy is a criminal but who says he has ever had formal gun training?

Possibly, but still, it's distracting and could have done with some tweaking. But I think as a Northern Ireland IRA rogue operative (as he was) it is unlikely that he'd be unfamiliar with weaponry. The IRA are a pretty hands-on kind of outfit.

Agreed. JP seemed slightly out of place. Michael Gambon might've been an interesting choice, if they wanted an Irishman. Although I'd have gone with Ray Winstone. Likeably ruthless.
