I always wanted to own and drive an S-Class. I started with a 190 (w201) and now I own a w124. I would love to get a w126 in good condition, but not with these gas prices - I live in Germany now and gas is rather expensive here.
I would love to get a w140 (or a c140), but from what hear they are not as reliable.

Also known as der Grosser Benz. Bit of a truck, not very nimble. I'd prefer a BMW M2. Fast as fuck, but with a long waiting list; or a Benz AMG Gullwing SL. For something more like a sedan, the BMW M6, with rear seats that recline and perform massage, but the auto still maneuvers and accelerates like stink.
Or a 1955 300 SL Gulwing in mint condition, white exterior, wine interior, chrome wire wheels.
Actually, no. The 450 SEL 6.9 was NOT the Grosser. The Grosser Mercedes was the 600. Well, actually it was the 770 in its first incarnation in the 1930's and 1940's, and the 600 on the '60's through '80's version.
It was much longer than the 450, and a little wider.
The M2 isn't that fast: my Jag XF sedan is only a little slower, and it wasn't designed as a speedster. If you want fast, the Jag 2017 Jaguar F-Type Project 7 does 0-60 in 3.3.
