worth buying?

This movie caught my eye. It was on sale for $5 at a local used video store. Is it worth it?

This film is full of nudity, crazy camera angles, jagged editing, weirdness, and a dash of prog rock. Does this sound like your kind of movie? I bought it on laser disc and happily re-bought it on DVD.

Thanks I might check it out.

Unfortunately, while the movie does contain these elements you speak of, it is also a completely forgettable and horribly boring throwaway movie severely lacking in both atmosphere and sleaze. For a "sleaze epic" you'd think there'd be some sleaze to talk about, where the hell was it? There were some UGLY women running around who'd flash a breast every now and again, but like... srsly? Sleaze epics aren't supposed to be boring, man. I enjoy jagged editing, trippy lighting, weirdness, and absolutely love prog rock, but this movie is still sh!t, no matter how I look at it (and not the enjoyable "THE NEW BARBARIANS" kind of sh!t either). I got my DVD of this as part of a "zombie" boxset (talk about mismarketing!) which also included Jean Rollin's NIGHT OF THE HUNTED (which is garbage and also has nothing to do with zombies) and THE LIVING DEAD GIRL (which I have not yet viewed, it damn well better be zombie-related), and I'm really regretting the purchase.

It's on blu ray now, same with Living Dead Girl same company put it out, I was happy with their Grapes of Death Blu ray so I bought Black Magic Rites. I am not expecting Citizen Kane.
