Ive always liked this film. Its vastly underrated. Baldwin is solid and the plot is somewhat similar to bad lieutenant but still interesting. Im surprised this board is so dead and no one ever mentions it when talking about cop dramas.

I can always view this film and never really move from chair...nor does my mind wander.
90% of the movies coming out now have some feckless actor cast as"lead"or tuff guy andit falls flat.Baldwin works as does Penn and a few others.So,why the
5 rating?Too many people grew up in the suburbs,unlike yours truly and would rather see some fish as a real cop.
