What do you think happend to chef and his wife?

I was wondering, what do you think happend to chef and his wife after the end of series 2? Obviously chef lost his manhood due to his wife at the end of series 2 but then what happend? Did Ruth get in trouble with the police for it? Did chef get it reattached? Did they get divorced and move away? So many questions that make you wonder what happend next.

I think the most likely outcome is that she would go to jail. He would either have it reattached and be severely traumatized or it wouldn't be possible for it to be reattached and he would have a breakdown. No matter what happened their son would need some serious counselling and likely end up in care.

I think it had to happen though. Chef caused so much pain and suffering to people over the space of a few years and showed no remorse. In fact he rather enjoyed having a large manhood and the fact that he seduce so many women with it (especially married women) and boasted about the pain he'd caused. So I think in the end it was only right that he got his comeuppance and it was only right that the woman who had been suffering the most and for the longest (his own wife) carried it out. But it would be nice if they ever make a series 3 to find out what happened to the two characters. I mean now in the year 2010 chances are that Ruth has been released from prison and reunited with their son. Chef on the other hand I think basically would have lost everything with that cut; his manhood (his pride and joy), his wife, his son, eventually his job and his house. They also hint that John gets given not guilty and gets away with murder, so this is a classic case of Karma.

As much as I hated the Chef character I can't condone domestic violence and mutilation. By writing of Ruth being "reunited" with their son you are assuming that he would be happy to see his mother which is not necessarily the case. Chef may have been a horrible human being but he did show his son love and affection and what child would be happy about their mother doing that to their father. It will have affected him and definitely not for the better.

Also Chefs manhood is only referred to once sarcastically and I know well-endowed men who have no particular success with women.
