Did anyone else think that the music played at the dinner party when they were outdoors (which plays in full during the closing credits) has a Jewishness to it? The cadence and instruments and so forth? I'm wondering if someone involved in the creating of the movie (or specifically the music) was Jewish.
shareI was wondering if the whole story had somehow shifted to West Virginia. It sounded kind of bluegrass to me. The music in that scene made me wonder if it was fashionable then for English high society to appreciate American music.
Kind of similar to much of English pop music being heavily influenced by the American Blues in the Sixties plus.
Yes I thought it was a kind of Klezmer music.
