Watch with the commentary

As DVD commentaries go, most are pretty boring. But watch this one. Bonnie Hunt and Don Lake provide the commentary for Return to Me, and it is almost as entertaining as the movie is. Bonnie Hunt is hysterical, and many things about the making of Return to Me are pretty funny too. Such as - the cast, throughout filming (a cast that already works SO well together) were encouraged to improvise their lines and actions. When Joe takes off his shirt in the kitchen and does a sexy dance while Grace and Megan are cracking up at him, taking off the shirt was scripted but the sexy dance wasn't. That was Jim Belushi, and they were really cracking up. So many funny and interesting things about this movie can be found in the commentary.

I think "he's got him in a choke-hold!" was improvised too, if I remember right.

Thank you! I'm here all week!

I love the commentary on this movie, it is one of the best I've heard. I listen to the commentary just as much as I watch the movie without. Another person who does excellent commentaries is Frank Darabont, they are so informative and fun to listen to

Another commentary that does very good, is very interesting is Diary of a Mad Black woman

I've got to say: I am a huge fan of this movie, but I didn't enjoy the commentary. I was excited about the idea of it, but Bonnie Hunt's super-dry delivery makes you wonder if several of the facts she's sharing are just jokes. She spends most of the commentary pointing out family members and pointing out every subtle moment in the movie that she likes. Love Bonnie Hunt, but I'd rather enjoy those wonderful moments on my own.
