My fav char used to be Estaban but now its Mendoza

weird when I was 6 in 1986 or whenever this program came on, my fav was Estaban

now as I am 28 next week, my fav is Mendoza with Estaban being second

Tao's always been my favourite, followed by Mendoza.

I have to admit that I still love Esteban but I have more appreciation for the complex Mendoza compared with when I was a child.

My favourite character is poor old Tafiola - he's only following orders.

For adults, the main draw is certainly Mendoza, his multi faceted personality is something rarely seen on kids shows. And his own realisation that he cares more for Esteban than the gold is one of the many rewards of the series

I really like the High Priest of the Cities of Gold, even if he is only introduced with a handful of episodes to go.

Oh, and huge Tafiola, as mentioned before, was great too.
