Mistimed humour - acting that lacks conviction - and a dreadful irritating performance from Pesci. I know now why I only originally saw the first 3 as I didn't want my fond memories affected.

It lurches between gory action and physically impossible car chases - no wonder the actors looked confused - the soundtrack was mediocre too.

But now for the first time in nearly 30 years I can only say I've seen all of them - and I wish I hadn't. Smiles and thumbs up for the first three - may this final installment rot in hell.

I'm sorry to disappoint you but for the reasons you don't like it I love it. You are entitled to your preference as I'm entitled to my preference. I loved that movie.

Yes of course you're entitled to your own opinion as these boards are here for debate. I'm not sure what you love about the film but I will only ever watch the first 3 least my suicidal thoughts come back.

I love the fact that it has some comedy, I love that, I love the fact that Riggs was more likable in this one than in the previous three, and I love the fact that it has the best villain. I mean Wah Sing Ku was the biggest challenge rigs and Murtaugh faced. The previous villains could easily be beaten. That's why I love this movie. It's my top favorite movie for the reasons I just mentioned.

What did you like about him? I found Ku way more evil than Rudd. What was it about Rudd that you liked?

Because he was played by a very good actor who exuded menace.

Rudd was murderous drug-smuggling racist who hid his crimes behind his diplomatic immunity.

The worst thing we see him do in screen is have the assistant killed.

He was a good villain.

In terms of sheer villainy, I'd say Jet Li's character has the edge because I think he's more cold-blooded.

And his people had Riggs'wife killed because he was getting too close in his undercover job.

Love the entire series and really enjoyed this one a lot.

I watched it again since the original release and I forgot how much it sucked.
