They should have chose somebody else or left his character out. And it's also a little weird that he was the father of Rianne's baby. It doesn't seem realistic that Rianne would take a 360 by flirting with Riggs, dating a "blonde guy with dimples" to getting pregnant by an obnoxious shucking and jiving jiggabuffoon like Rock's character. Like Fiona Apple once said about Rock.... the guy is a burnt match.

He was funny , but having watched this again since a long time, I couldn't help but feel how much his character stood out as just an excuse for him to basically do stand up comedy. His speech about the body on the beach felt like I was watching a comedy special. It was too 'routine' to seem genuine.
