I am a huge fan of Dragonball and Dragonball Z manga and anime, and theres been rumors that fox have got the rights to it and are going to make a live virson of Dragonball Z or Dragonball, i looked for ages to see if this was true then suddenly this movie pops up i've seen some pictures of it i must admit it looks a bit fake but also looks funny i really have to see this movie, i just dont understand why i havent seen it before though everything i've looked though about Dragonball and Dragonball Z it wasnt there suddenly it is now.

Is it crap or is it a good film ?

Haven't seen it, but your intuition should tell you it's a terrible, terrible film. Based on what I've heard, it's only good if you are a fan of DB and want to laugh at something that does such a terrible job of portraying it. With that in mind I hear it's quite funny...

Thanks :D lol i'm a fan of DB and i think that if i ever saw it from looking around and seeing pictures in the end i'd probably just laugh my head off :D i'll keep an open mind all i need to do now is to get it some how

I got mine from amazon, it arrived yesterday and I watched it today. You HAVE to watch it if you're a dragonball fan but don't take it seriously.

Good old amazon lol, i know i have to watch it as i love dragonball and dragonball z and it seems most people are finding it funny so i'll wait and see if it makes me laugh but i'll keep a huge open mind on it - got some photos from it well i'll assume its from it ...

I love DB/DBZ and GT... but this just sucks!!!

LOL wow everyone thinks its bad i'm yet to see it but i'll keep trying/searching to try and see it i actuly want to see this film oddly enough now not because its Dragon Ball Z related but because people think its so bad haha i hope to see it before i die i'm not dieing but i'm very slow on searching for things lol i'll try and see if i can get it like in the uk anywere athough i think i'll have to get it imported *i rub my chin* hmmm

I antually saw this movie when I was younger way before ever watching the anime. I loved it then. I saw it again a few years back after watching the whole seris of DB DBZ and GT. It's a little chezzy but funny! Great for kids around the 8-12 age. LOL still funny when I think about it.

lol well i'm a bit older then 8-12 ages it seems the most top reason people watch it is to laugh at it

Fox had the right to a new movie, they even started on the script once and
even had a range of possible actors for each main character.

The movie was supposed to start at the beginning of the Dragon Ball Z series
and The battle between Goku and Vegeta was supposed to be Matrix 3-ish (neo vs agent)

But later on they "realized" that such a movie would suck balls because no one
would watch it and decided to dump the whole plan. Though they might bring the
idea back to life some day.

I heard that too but i think if the transformers live action works and makes lots and lots of money then they'll think heyyy maby it would work and bring it out as live action if they do that with dragonball z then i am going to watch it

what about everyone else would you watch it or not watch it?

I watched it some years ago and, yes, it's true, but also quite bad. It's like the Torma movies, so bad that in the end it's good.

It meant Troma Films. Troma makes some really awful movies.

it pretty bad but very entertaining if u have seen dragonball. If i were u i would watch it at least once. and there might be a dragon ball z movie. search dragon ball z and youll see one that says dragon ball z (2010). not much on it but im hopeing it will be made!

I've seen dragonball and dragonball Z for some reason i just dislike GT immensly dont ask me why i just dont classify it as proper dragonball lol crazy i know lol really one (2010) wow lol that'll be cool i hope it'll be made too i am so gona watch the hell out of it lol :D that is if its good if not i shall be contacting my lawyer lol

Wow i've actuly spoken to someone who hates GT too great lol i feel like setting up a club lol :D :) it is a bad mix i aggree also i think they just pushed it too far its like mending something thats already fixed

I haven't seen this movie, but I've heard it's not actually official anyway, it was done by some Chinese film group that have no official connection to Dragon Ball.

And I can tell you it's definitely not the movie that Fox are talking about, that's not out yet. In fact, they haven't even cast Vegeta yet! or they hadn't the last time I heard about it anyway. Here's the IMDb page http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1098327/

edit: Looks like the plot outline has changed. It used to say it was going to be about the Saiya-jin saga, with Vegeta and Nappa, now it's saying it's about Piccolo. So I'm guessing Vegeta won't be in at all, which would explain why he hasn't been cast, lol.

oh great thanks i've been trying to find the dragonball z thing for ages :) aww such a shame about vegeta i am pleased there doing a live version i am going to see it then i will decide if i boo fox down or if i say well done lol :P i'm very pleased its being done it'll show more people how cool dragonball Z is and other dragonball things are :) thanks again :)

I own this movie on DVD. It's very entertaining.
