DVD?

whats up no DVD?

anyone one else want to see this classic on DVD?

reply

I could be wrong, but I believe this is available on DVD as a part of the "TOUGH GUYS OF KUNG FU" 10 movie box set available by Brentwood Entertainment.

reply

Check your bargin bins. I got it with "Chinese Hercules" and "Kung Fu: The Fist of Death" for 3 bucks all told.

Definitely got my moneyes worth.

I picked up this DVD in the Suncoast bargain bin at my local mall. Try Suncoast.com as well.

reply

I got the DVD at Suncoast as well. Diamond Entertainment published it.

reply

I got mine from amazon, surprisingly, for 6 bucks. Diamond (infamouse for unauthorized/ alt. title releases) put it out, and also surprisingly its not a bad transfer/print. I've seen much more popular Kung Fu that looks a lot worse.

Up in Canada, my girlfriend bought me this as a early x-mas present which comes in a 4-movie/2-disc set. I'd imagined that she got this fairly cheap from wal-mart or something.

reply

I NEED THIS! I'm gonna hound the bargain bins for the multi-disc set from Brentwood Entertainment...

i bought my off blockbuster.com a few years ago for like 4 bucks. the only place i see it on the internet right now is on amazon.

the one on amazon is the one i have through diamond entertainment corp. the transfer is honestly really good for an obscure 82' kungfu flic.

Saw this on LATE night tv about 3 years ago. Found the DVD in a Media Play bargain bin shortly thereafter. It was fate.

reply

I got it in a 5 DVD collection with a total of 13 movies for 10 bucks.

reply

I found this in a DVD set called The Kung-Fu Collection which featured 13 films and was only $9.99. Diamond Entertainment released it.

reply

Problem is there's still no letterbox / widescreen release anywhere - and the Diamond DVD is horribly pan and scanned.

reply

HKFlix offers a purportedly letterbox DVD from PanMedia, which seems to be a kind of bootleg outfit, for $9.95 ($7.95 if you purchase during their sale which ends 7/31/09). I have only seen a bargain bin, full-screen DVD of this myself, so if this is 2.35:1, then it is arguably a find.
