was anyone on this show?

Seriously, these kids were like my age when the show was on. So there has to be someone out there who was on the show. My brothers friend was on Double Dare once. I used to love Wild and Crazy Kids when they would go to the waterparks. Those were my favorite.

Monkey's ASS!!

i was never on the actual show, but i went to a "Wild and Crazy Kids" tour in my town where they had similar games and the hosts were there, and i got a free t-shirt. That was exciting stuff.

i was on the show... i was on the one called battle of the sexes. I was at girffith park boys camp one summer and they brought in the girls camp and filmed it.
my event was digging through a hay stack looking for those little baseball bats.
damn, that was 12 or 13 years ago...

hahaha you just brought back some good memories with that one. how about when they would put him on a like a board and spin him to see what show they would play next. and it was always rugrats or ahhh real monsters.

I'm going to open a cross dressing store and name it "Susan B. Anthony"

reply

I wish I was on this show. It was awesome! My friend Sarah was on "Where in the world is Carmen San Diego?" She won too! Got a free trip to Orlando, and stayed in a pretty nice hotel. She was only allowed to take her family though...so I couldn't go...bleh! I'm glad I am not the only one who remembers Stick Stickly. Double Dare and Hidden Temple would have been great shows to be on.

I never got to be on the shows but i miss the old nickelodeon soooo much. Most of the shows thay have now are Just annoying. I Turned twenty one o couple of months ago, and I'm hoping that as my generation starts having kids, they release all of the old shows like Double Dare, What would you do?, Wild and crazy kids, Legends of the hidden temple, and even the non game shows like Pete and Pete and Clarissa Explains it all on DVD or running the on nick at night. they'd have one heck of an audience. I even remember the jingle that was made out of Stick Stickly's mailing address. I miss him so much!
Nick has really deteriorated.

I always wished I was on it! I got to rake leaves for "The Big Help" and some of the kids I met there had been on it. They were so lucky! I was just excited to be associated with Nickelodeon!

"Mr. Burgandy, you have a MASSIVE erection!"

It seems like they really pussed out.Alot of the shows on old nick were game shows based on the premise of obstacles. It got alot of kids trying to copy the obstacles at home and encouraged exercise. Now they're wondering why younger kids are so fat nowadays. All of their shows are centered towards whiney pre-teens(ie grown up rugrats, zoe 101).

I was 5 years old when the show came out, I may have been to young when it first came out. I always wanted to be on this show, it looks like so much fun!

oh man, I remember this, Double Dare, and Legends of the Hidden temple were my all time favorite shows. I especially like the end of Legends when they had to run through the temple. That always looked like SO much fun and creepy when that one guy would always jump out of the wall.

and I remember Stick Stickly too!

reply

Oh man, I loved this show...I loved the shirts; I thought they were so awesome when I was little. I remember they always somehow used water and food in their challenges - awesome stuff. Wish it was still around. I also miss Who's Afraid of the Dark, Pete and Pete, Clarissa, Rocko's Modern Life, etc. Good ole' days.

reply

I got to go on stage and do an egg toss when a tour came to town, green team, I still wear the shirt. People ask about it when they see me. I always wanted to be slimed though, to this day in fact. And I wanted SO badly to be on Legeds of the Hidden Temple or Double Dare. I still would go on if I could.
