How is it these days?

Not seen it in several years but it used to be on-target with its satire. How is it nowadays now that Matt and Trey are off jerking each other off on Broadway?

reply

After only seeing the entirety of Season 1 way back in the 90's, some sporadic later episodes here and there in the 2000's, and perhaps 5 more recent 2011-2016 era episodes in the last few days, of the later seasons, I have to say:

Season 1 is the best by far.

Yes we all know you like Trump

reply

And we all know you like Hillary, what does this have anything to do with anything in here?

reply

Let's volley for serve.

reply

I think that's a fair observation. I think the first 3 seasons are the best. After that the show went downhill.

reply

You can't be serious. The first 3 seasons are the worst. Especially season 1 and 2.

reply

I'm dead serious, I liked the show much better when it was just nonsense fun instead of being preachy. And don't be silly, the last 10 years have been the worst.

reply

It's true the series peaked between 4-11 seasons. But the nonsensical "shock value" humor of the first few seasons was just dumb looking back at it. There has also been a few decent episodes in later seasons, but I have to admit those are becoming rare.

reply

Nope, I still think those early episodes are funny looking back, especially compared to later seasons.

reply

I loved the first 2 seasons more. Damn man, you had weight loss Eric in there and the boys playing with guns near a volcano.

reply

Y'all wrong! I havent seen it recently , but about 5 years ago they were doing great episodes - like the "Inception" episode

reply

I would go further and say the first five seasons. South Park has absolutely not been funny in a very long time.

reply

cmon , what about that one where the internet went off and everyone had to migrate and live in refugee camps?
or the one where one of the Dads buys a Blockbuster store?

reply

Episodes that aired 10 and 6 years ago.
