They need to seriously do some sort of episode where they bring back Chinpokemon

the pokemon go craze this summer would be perfect for an episode

They have already made fun of Pokémon.

They've already made fun of a lot of things. They've already made fun of douches vs turd sandwiches. They've already made fun of nostalgia. They've already made fun of PC culture.

There's nothing wrong with them revisiting something, especially after it develops significantly such as Pokemon has.

They've said they're not going to and I expect that's because they already have a decent idea of what they're doing this season and that Pokemon doesn't factor into it.

They've already made fun of elections, giant douches, turd sandwiches, Hillary, Donald, Bruce Jenner, break-ups, Political Correctivism, trolling, having no friends, token's life mattering, and that hasn't stopped them from making Season 20.

They definitely should make a Chinpokomon Go episode.

I think that would be absolutely hilarious. Especially poking fun at it using up cell phone data and killing your phone battery.

And u could have Kenny playing the game and walk right into a gayarados mouth like the guy in the loading screen. And have cartman getting pissed at all the rattatas.

They could have at least had the memberberries member Chinpokemon, given the fact that it's a very memberberry game.

The thing is, it's about timing. The peak of the Pokemon Go craze was exactly during their hiatus...and when South Park returned, the craze was already dying off when parents started playing it.
