Me too. I feel like you can't watch these episodes individually (and get too much out of it) because they depend on the context of the ones before it so much.
Episodes are only 20 minutes though and they're tackling a pretty big issue. The PC culture these days is flat out ruining America. You have media creating huge racial/stereotypical tones throughout society, morons using the Internet spewing worthless crap about their crotch trophies and dumb political views, only to start crying and get all offended when someone calls them a moron.
You have women and races that are COMPLETELY out of control with their stupid protests. And of course the media just gobbles it all up. You can't say or do anything these days without someone bitching and whining that they've been 'violated' and the actions the media and even law enforcement are doing to 'curb' it are simply just adding more fuel to the fire. I mean jesus some kid got jail time for 2 years because he harassed some girl on Facebook. How about BLOCK the douche and move on with your pathetic excuse for a life.
Everyone is looking for attention, how to get rich quick, etc. and the media has fueled it more than ever. It's quite possibly the biggest joke I've ever seen/heard of these days. SLAVERY made more sense than the garbage our media and people are pouring through society today. OH NO, DID I OFFEND SOME DOUCHE NOZZLE WITH THAT COMMENT! OMGOMG REPORT REPPORT IMDBBSSS RARRREST SUE !!!!1111!! RACIST RACIST!!!
Thank God South Park is still around to make fun of it and point out how ridiculously stupid people are these days. Sadly those dumbasses supporting this crap think South Park is 'offensive' and 'rude'... and it'll do nothing. But at least it keeps me somewhat sane and knowing there are people out there who think the World is as dumb as I do.
I think most people will agree that the current PC culture is bad. Most of us are sick of it. That being said, we get it. South Park has covered it. Let's move on to some new material.

shareTrey & Matt are aware fans don't like this season a whole lot which is why they've included the Member Berries. Granted, the Member Berries don't really make up for the entirety of this season being about trolling.

I love this season, and think it's one of my favorites.
They're taking some issues that a lot of us are so very sick and tired of hearing about, and showing us the absurdity involved. That's straight up entertaining to me.
The thing is there were some absolute Zinger single episodes in the past:
"I broke the dam"
"Maam you've got a bad case of hippies"
Chef joins a kooky death cult
"Who is the coon?"
Douche or Turd Sandwich
and the original classic
"Chef Cartmans been kidnapped by aliens, and we're trying to decide if we should care"
With the new style no single episode will ever be as good. Some of them really don't make sense at all when watched alone.
I like the fact that some things are continued over the season (like Cartman having a relationship.) But doing it too much stops any ep from being really memorable.
Exactly. None of these new episodes are memorable.

If that is what they are intending to do, (and I suspect it is as well), then they are totally off the mark. What this country has done in recent years in no way resembles "moving forward" We all have nostalgic thoughts about the past, and that is a good thing. When lame stream media tries to depict those pleasant memories as a hate filled desire to return to times when the playing field was grossly uneven, they are being manipulative and serving up a false narrative. Do I miss the days when the press was mostly honest, and crooked politicians got away with much less crap? Hell yeah! The vast majority of us who have been around for 60 years or more were in the front line in the war against bigotry and racism, but today we are called "racist" because we are seniors or white or are from a certain part of the country.
The President, or the candidate, can be crooked and dumb as dirt but if you disagree with them you get trashed for being a hater. That right there should make people with a working brain look at the phony PC agenda by the Left and see where dishonesty and hatred really dwell! share
I love these themed seasons with a continuing story line, I actually think I like it more than the old style.
shareI don't mind the format but it feels like they stretch one episode into eight. Like they cut up four standalone episodes and intercut them. The jokes get old pretty quick.
