criticizing the new star wars movie,,

some people complained the sequels were way too different...and when TFA came out trying to return to original formula...they complained about THAT...could it be some people just dont want to actually enjoy anything?

reply

TFA is literally the same movie as A New Hope.

You literally don't know what literally means. Also who was the the equivalent of Finn in new hope? that's pretty different. Similar yes but that's smart. The original was brilliant writing. That's why it was so huge. Why would you buy the franchise then not use what you bought. This hate is getting old. These people are just bitter. It wasn't the best movie ever but it was enjoyable and they didn't harm the franchise. It also set up a potentially great trilogy. All the characters have tons of room for growth with the force. Including Kylo. So what character did we see grow on the dark side in the original trilogy? Just sit back and enjoy the ride. It is never going to be enjoyable if you just want to compare it to the originals.

Sequels are different? Lol. I think you meant prequels.

Matt and Trey won't like Episode 8. That's my gut feeling

Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fan

They probably won't like Rogue One either. Or the Han Solo stand-alone movie.
