It's too bad that we won't be able to debate during the next season of South Park, but here's to hoping the show becomes great again.

Apparently they want us to use their social media pages. I'm going to take a hard pass on that.
shareYeah, super disappointing. The coolest thing about IMDB is the ability of readers to narrow down their focus on a vast range of topics.
Current, popular stuff like South Park has plenty of places for discussions & that's cool. But where can one go for a contemporary POV on an obscure, 50 year old movie? Fire up the search engine & wade through all the commercial crap.
There are good blogs, like AV Club, which try to cover the same breadth of subject matter in a thoughtful manner. But it's terribly undemocratic. Discussion is focused on whatever the paid staff wants to discuss. That is the best case scenario for IMDB.
On a more pessimistic note, I expect something like Entertainment Tonight. Just a bunch of editorial handjobs for whoever is "hot" in Hollywood. I just glanced at their Twitter feed & that's exactly what it looks like.
