A franchise divided into 3 groups. In the original trilogy, the galaxy is ruled by an evil empire, but an alliance of rebels wants to take it down. Farmer LUKE SKYWALKER, bounty hunter HAN SOLO, PRINCESS LEIA ORGANA, alien CHEWBACCA, robots C-3PO & R2-D2 and BARON LANDO CALRISSIAN have to defeat EMPEROR DARTH SIDIOUS. In this universe, there are also powerful warriors. The good ones are the Jedi, who fight on the Light Side with light sabers. The evil ones are the Sith, who fight on the Dark Side with... light sabers too? Shouldn't they be called "dark sabers"? The only remaining Jedi is OBI-WAN "BEN" KENOBI and YODA, who train LUKE; the only remaining Sith is DARTH VADER, SIDIOUS' right hand. In the prequel trilogy (which takes place around 30 years earlier), the empire is a republic. OBI-WAN, his master QUI-GON JINN, his apprentice ANAKIN SKYWALKER (LUKE's father) and the Jedi Council have to defend it from the Sith... but we know how that turns out. In the sequel trilogy (which takes place around 30 years later (only 1 movie has been made so far)), a military dictatorship called The First Order (led by COMMANDER KYLO REN and SUPREME LEADER SNOKE) wants to rule the galaxy. The heroes are back and are now joined by scavenger REY, soldier FN-2187 a.k.a. FINN, pilot POE DAMERON and robot BB-8. Is that too much to remember? Do what I do when I watch a movie: Use a notepad. Who knows? Maybe you'll discover that you want to be critics too.
STAR WARS: EPISODE III - REVENGE OF THE SITH is the 2nd best of the franchise, because it's a punch to the stomach in the way a tragedy should be. It's also the darkest and boldest (not THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK). How many Hollywood blockbusters have you seen where an adult kills children on screen? Specially one where the killer has been shown as the hero (to the viewers that watch the movies in chronological order)? It has the best light saber fight scenes of the prequel trilogy. Christensen's performance is still weak whenever he opens his mouth. When he keeps it shut, he's a terryfying villain. Portman's is good at last! McDiarmid's is a little off. It felt like he was trying accents. McGregor finally gets a chance to show his acting skills.

Una franquicia dividida en 3 grupos. En la trilogía original, la galaxia es regida por un malvado imperio, pero una alianza de rebeldes quiere acabar con él. El granjero LUKE SKYWALKER, el caza-recompensas HAN SOLO, la PRINCESA LEIA ORGANA, el alien CHEWBACCA, los robots C-3PO & R2-D2 y el BARÓN LANDO CALRISSIAN tienen que derrotar al EMPERADOR DARTH SIDIOUS. En este universo, también hay poderosos guerreros. Los buenos son los Jedi, que pelean por el Lado Luminoso con sables de luz. Los malos son los Sith, que pelean por el Lado Oscuro con... ¿sables de luz también? ¿No deberían llamarse «sables de oscuridad»? Los únicos Jedi que quedan son OBI-WAN «BEN» KENOBI y YODA, que entrenan a LUKE; el único Sith que queda es DARTH VADER, la mano derecha de SIDIOUS. En la trilogía precuela (que ocurre alrededor de 30 años antes), el imperio es una república. OBI-WAN, su maestro QUI-GON JINN, su aprendiz ANAKIN SKYWALKER (el padre de LUKE) y el Consejo Jedi tienen que defenderla de los Sith... pero sabemos como termina eso. En la trilogía secuela (que ocurre alrededor de 30 años después (solo se ha hecho 1 película hasta ahora)), una dictadura militar llamada La Primera Orden (liderada por el COMANDANTE KYLO REN y el LÍDER SUPREMO SNOKE) quiere controlar la galaxia. Los héroes están de vuelta y ahora se unen a ellos la carroñera REY, el soldado FN-2187 alias FINN, el piloto POE DAMERON y el robot BB-8. ¿Es demasiado para recordar? Hagan lo que yo hago cuando veo una película: usen una libreta. ¿Quién sabe? Quizás descubran que también quieren ser críticos.
STAR WARS: EPISODIO III - LA VENGANZA DE LOS SITH es la 2da mejor de la franquicia, porque es un golpe al estómago en la manera que una tragedia debería ser. También es la más oscura y atrevida (no EL IMPERIO CONTRAATACA). ¿Cuántas pelis taquilleras hollywoodenses han visto en donde un adulto mata a niños en pantalla? Sobre todo una en donde el asesino se había mostrado como el héroe (para los espectadores que ven las películas en orden cronológico)? mejores escenas de pelea con sables de luz de la trilogía precuela. La actuación de Christensen todavía es débil cada vez que abre la boca. Cuando la mantiene cerrada, él es un villano aterrador. ¡La de Portman es buena por fin! Hay algo raro con la de McDiarmid. Se sintió como que estaba probando acentos. McGregor finalmente tiene la oportunidad de mostrar sus habilidades actorales.
