If you have done a fan edit, you are pretty much George Lucas...

Fans who edit the prequels, trying to make the definitive version of the prequels, the way it was meant to be and....wait... that sounds strangely familiar...

Seriously, stop trying to George Lucas Star Wars. There are even people who have done multiple fan edits of the same movie because they decide a year later that it could still be better! What do ya know, they went full lucas!

Just accept the truth, laugh at the bad and appreciate the good. Don't hide in a world of denial, clinging to your own poorly edited, badly dubbed version of the movie that somehow legitimizes it.

just some advice. Go ahead and keep doing it but remember... you have not right to talk down on the special editions if you are gonna make your own.

The one, big, massive, most important distinction between fan edits and GL's edits, is fans don't go out of their way to destroy the original versions so you HAVE to watch the edited version only.

If both original and special edition versions were on the blueray (and they'd both fit) we wouldn't have such an issue with the SE versions.

Those people do it out if love, lucas does it out of greed and contempt for his fans.

Totally different
