good movie. best of the prequels by far.

this was the only good movie from the prequels.

the two leads are good looking

great scenes:
car chase through the city (one of the greatest scenes of all time)
jango obiwan fight
asteroid field battle
battle of geonosis after the arena (one of the greatest scenes of all time)

beautiful shots:
the water fall on naboo
anakin and padme at the castle overlooking the lake
the living room with the fireplace
the dining room

romance

across the stars theme. the only great new theme from the prequels.

the movie would have been much better without the diner scene and the yoda fight

i don't care too much about bad dialogue and bad acting. it hurts the movie. but the most important thing about a movie is the visuals and the music.

the reason it gets so much hate is because there's a ton of bad stuff in it.

still it deserves 60%

There are no cars in the Star Wars universe so not sure what you mean by a car chase. And the best car chase ever on film was in The Goonies in the beginning after the jail break. Mama Fratelli handles that Jeep Cherokee perfectly

the movie try too hard to be deep like empire strike back. it is not interesting enough.

anything good in film is cancel out. for examples:

kamino - good. naboo - crap.
asteroid scene - good. geonosis scene - crap.
anakin massacre sand peoples - good. love scene - crap.
count dooku - good. jango fett - crap.
anakin/obi fight with dooku - good. yoda fight with dooku - crap.

film medicore. undoes self at every turn.

I loved the scene where Dooku spills the beans to Obi-Wan Kenobi, yet Obi-Wan still can't believe that Chancellor Palpatine is a Sith Lord, even after all the things that happen in The Clone Wars and other events leading up to Revenge of the Sith.

I really like the opening scene until the explosion. Also, all the scenes in the cloner world.

I agree 100% and I'm baffled how misunderstood this movie is.
