I saw this movie when i was 12.......

I saw this movie at a friends house when i was 12, and scared me to death. I didn t sleep that night. I just stared out the window all night, hoping no one was coming for me. It was horrible.

I watched it at about 13 and was fairly scared. Put things in perspective and made me grow up quite a lot

My brother traumatized me with this movie when I was very young, younger than 12. He brought it home one day, and we all watched. I'm not even sure which part of the series it is. I got led to this board, because I was watching the first season of Prison Break and they were at the almost execution of Lincoln Burrows. And I remembered watching this execution video when I was young when the guy's eyes were popping out. And I remember two other sequences, the cow slaughter and the family eating the dog. So I did a quick search out of curiosity (maybe I have a morbid imagination and the video doesn't really exist) and came across the wikipedia page. Anyway, this is really disturbing stuff. And it still haunts me so many years later. I blame my brother entirely.

I was around that age, or even younger, when I watched this. Just like the poster above, my brother brought the vhs home. He's 4 years older than me. He wasn't yet, but video stores rented this series to teenagers back then. I thought I could deal with it, but I watched on daytime. I couldn't stand any scene with animal abuse, I still can't, so I just did not watch those parts, and somehow convince myself it was all fake. I remember it was shocking for me the "magician" scene, and the man with an injury on his leg.
My mother hated it. She had nightmares, but she watched by her own out of curiosity.
I decide I'll never watch another one of this series.

Please excuse my terrible redaction, english is not my native language.
