Underrated and one of Tim Burton's best films

Personally, I think this movie is underrated and I think it's one of my favorite films of Tim Burton's

I don't watch it too often, but when I do, I really enjoy it. I rarely use the phrase underrated, but I do think it applies here.

It's a sweet story with some pretty funny moments. The three main leads are perfectly charming and fun. Plus, the Remains of the Day song really grows on me.

Personally, I love the Piano Duet scene.

Cool.

It's a solid movie

Yep. We need more like this.

It's a good movie, rather than a great one, but a darn good movie that hits all the marks it was aiming for".

It ought to be a Halloween Classic, as it really is a better movie than "Hocus Pocus" or "Nightmare Before Christmas", it's weirder and more touching than either, and has better musical numbers.

I just rewatched this for the first time in God knows how many years! It's fantastically atmospheric. The cast is great (Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Richard E Grant (Boo! Hiss!), Emily Watson, Christopher Lee, Albert Finney, Tracey Ullman, Paul Whitehouse, Joanna Lumley, Michael Gough). The animation is superb, and Danny Elfman's music is perfect. 8/10.
