I just ordered an Icelandic DVD release of this series. The DVD contains Icelandic, English, & German audio (but no subtitles).

I'm just curious, what language is this series originally filmed in?

I had assumed it was filmed in Icelandic, but its IMDb profile lists its langauges as Icelandic & English; also adding to the confusion, its IMDb title is "Nonni und Manni," which would be German (instead of the Icelandic, "Nonni og Manni").

I'm sure I'll be able to tell when I receive the DVD, but I just thought I'd ask.

You probably know this already as it is long since you posted this topic, but I think the series were filmed in both English and Icelandic and then dubbed into the language required. Many of the actors do not speak Icelandic and I think some of the supporting actors and extras mainly Icelandic.
