He kind of act like he cares... but it seems like he doesn't, he's so concerned with the people telling their story yet he interrupts them in the middle of it. It just kind of annoys me "Let them talk Montel!"

I agree with the original poster. He had a professional in his audience who only got to say one sentence, before Montell started giving a speech. And he goes for the harshest details of the guest's story, almost exaggerating it himself.
He talks too much, even for a talkshow host.
Yes, he beats out Maury defenitely, but, Montell needs to let people talk, sometimes.
I totally agree. I have never been a Montel fan, therefore I usually do not watch the show; however, I tuned in today since the topic was interesting regarding the Exodus Ministries....
Again, the topic was interesting, but because he was too "involved" as the host, I was turned off "totally".
The best of journalist/reporters "do not allow their opinion/view to become noticeable on such controversial issues. I will continue to tune in to OPRAH!

Have you seen his latest RIDICULOUS thing he's doing on the show? They have a LOUD BELL that rings and interrupts the guests talking to announce free audience give-aways! The mood suddenly shifts from emotional guests talking, to the audience cheering about what freebie ONE of them is going to win! It completely interrupts the seriousness of the interview and it clearly shows these producers are trying to rip off Oprah, in the most pathetic way possible!

I used to like his show, but he has a bad habit of interrupting his guests-sometimes it's like he's in some kind of manic phase. He also seems like he is trying to become the male Oprah, and I can't knock people that are trying to do good, but somehow it's not working for him...he's always pushing his book and that bell is ridiculous.
shareYep I think Montel has flipped his lid like Oprah has. Both of them (especially Oprah) are on a huge ego trip. Oprah said once she was "destined for greatness"--I just wish her "greatness" would retire and get her obnoxious behind off television, and take Montel with her!
