question about acting in regards to David Spade.

Ok, I just recently noticed this movie. I'm a big fan of David Spade and I was on his page to see what he was up to and noticed that he starred in this movie. And as I said I'm a fan of his and cartoons as well. I'm probably going to see this movie eventually because it just seems to make sense to me now. But I have a question first. David Spade has a very distinct personality that usually seems to come out in his characters... Does his personality come out in this role or is it not a typical David Spade role? (and I understand being a Disney movie he's going to be subdued)

reply

Oh, his personality comes out all right :)

He's hilarious in the role of the emperor and for me his voice and "groove" were very easily recognizable.

Just watch the film.

This whole movie was full of "Ink Suit Actors", i.e. actors basically playing themselves as they would in a real movie.

Supermodels...spoiled stupid little stick figures mit poofy lips who sink only about zemselves.

Yeah, think 'David Finch' with absolute power. Scary thought, yes?
