Does anyone feel this is the BEST Star Wars film BY FAR?

Honestly, I don't think any of the others come close. This is the best one and it's far, far away from the others.

It's the only Star Wars movie that gave us Liam Neeson's Qui-Gon Jinn, Darth Maul, the Pod Race, Jar Jar Binks (IN A BIG ROLE), Boss Nass & the Gungan Race, Shimi Skywalker, Sebulba and the INCREDIBLE lightsaber duel between Qui-Gon Jinn & Obi-Wan Kenobi & Darth Maul.

Plus, it's the ONLY Star Wars movie to have come out in the 1990's and it CAME OUT in 1999.

Even Roger Ebert loved it when it came out and considered it the best of the Prequels.

school started for me in the year 2000 and my childhood started to die quickly one day at a time after that. 1999 is the best year in my life and for that reason alone this is by far the best star wars. i have the most nostalgia value from this film. my fav part was when there were in that sea underwater sub and that moster fish chased them. i hade a puzzle from goodwill of that but never actually had the peices to finish it (or maybe i was just too stupid to do it, that was probably it)

Are you out of your mind?

No, not even close, but I do feel that it is better than AOTC.

No but TPM was still a fun, well crafted movie that greatly expanded the Star Wars universe & its lore. I enjoyed it as a kid & I still value it for what it contributed to the legacy of Star Wars overall.

That being said it's the one prequel movie that I feel the most needed a few key changes. e.g. "Cast Hayden Christiansen as Anakin from the start; Have Obi Wan & Qui Gon switch roles, with Obi Wan playing the more prominent role & being the young idealistic Jedi who discovers Anakin; Tone down Jar Jar

I think the movie being re-worked a bit with those changes alone could have elevated it from just good to easily one of the best.
