Disney should pretend the prequels didn't happen

After Lucas dies in like 20-30 years they should remake the 3 prequels. It would lead to a boat load of money and I think fans would be okay with it. In 30 years, Disney will have made like more than 10 Star Wars films...they'll be running out of ideas by then. Time for remakes!

I'd be okay if they completely change Vader's back story...

That's the beauty of the prequels, is they can always be remade.

reply

And the original prequels turned into soap. I like that idea.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

reply

Yeah, make more *beep* reboots. Like Disney already remade A New Hope with TFA and that was awful.

reply

Considering that their product is getting more and more heavily dependent on the prequels (i.e. using Revenge of the Sith actors in Rogue One), I wouldn't hold your breath on that point.

Ah no they shouldn't

At some point every Star Wars film will be remade. It's inevitable. That being said, they won't remake the prequels now. They're reusing actors from them in the upcoming films. Too late.

Don't like what I'm saying? Then call 1800-Ima-CryBaby and ask for Waaaaaa.

I think they'd be better served going back even further, to before the Republic and the early formation of the Jedi Order. Clear themselves for awhile, then come back and make proper prequels in 20 years or so. No need to rehash. Use the existing universe and tell all new stories with all new characters.

You should pretend to go fück yourself.

reply

If you know what I mean.

reply

Why? They aren't that bad.

reply

Interesting idea, I choose to pretend that all of the Disney Star Wars films don't exist.
