Rumors of a sequel...

There's something up on Wikipedia now:

"Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation plan to make and produce a traditional hand-drawn animated sequel to Titan A.E. to be released in 2013 directed by Scott Stewart, not Don Bluth or Gary Goldman."

I never trust things like this off of wiki, but has anyone else heard this?

I'd be surprised considering that this movie bombed so bad it ended Bluth's career (I love the film though). But I'd love to see a sequel, even if Bluth doesn't direct it.

I just saw it on wiki and it sounds interesting they're considering a sequel. I just hope it's as good as this movie.

Yeah, if it's on Wikipedia, go at ur own risk. LOVEA the movie, but yes, it didn't do too hot in theaters.

All I'm gonna say is...... erase any ideas of a sequel from your mind. Bluth is pushing 80 and he hasn't directed a single movie since this film was released. If we're lucky we'll have it remastered and released on blu ray but otherwise, any evolution of Titan AE francise isn't gonna happen.
