Which one of the two do you prefer?

2 is the best. It's a fact.

Deal with it.

MIB1, even though I never went crazy about it like alot of people, it stands out better.

MIB2 just felt like they were too scared to carry through with what they had done at the end of the first film. They jettisoned Laurel with just one line as to where she went, and then unable to truly have J move on, they ruined K's happily ever after from the first film: couldn't take being away from MIB, eeking out a miserable existence doing postal work.

I love the first one. I used to really enjoy the second one but I just rewatched it and I realised it doesn't hold up (especially in the CGI department). The third one is pretty good.

IMHO,part 1 was pretty cool, part 2 was boring, part 3 was ok.

MiB and MiB III - 8/10
MiB II - 7/10

The first one, by some margin.

The villain is much better, K's character arc is much more satisfying, the final set-piece is much better, Linda Fiorentino's character is more interesting than Rosario Dawson's, and, unlike MIBII, the film has the benefit of not being a tired retread of its predecessor. Oh, and theme song is better.
