At the end of the 'Making of' segment, it says "to be continued..."

I think that was kind of referring to the fact that Walt Disney intended the film to be a continuous work-in-progress. There was in fact supposed to be a Fantasia 2006, but because Roy Disney could not put up with Michael Eisner anymore, he left and the project was abandoned. At least 3 of the shorts were finished and released ("One by One", Lorenzo", "The Little Match Girl"). Now with Roy Disney back and John Lasseter in charge of the animation unit, who knows.
