Seriously, it should.
The ability to tell a story, even a small one, without the use of dialogue is something every director out there must know. If you can effectively do this, the dialogue is just an added bonus.
it makes the audience think about what is being said, but more specific than that, it gets them involved. Always a plus.
i do agree, but the original Fantasia is the only required viewing, 2000 is more of a bonus.
