terrible when compared to Fantasia 1940

the first Fantasia was a celebration of Paganism and Classical antiquity. it was beautiful, haunting, full of magic from start to finish. the new Fantasia however is a celebration of monotheistic Christian ideals. in short, it blew.

i bought the two together in a set and plan on tossing out Fantasia 2000. i'd rather not subject my future children to its constricted view point or lame segments.

aren't you forgetting that the original movie ended with nuns singing "Ave Maria"?

As the other poster said, the ending of the original version had an Ave María section.

In addition, the ending to this one also celebrated Paganism. A nature goddess and a volcano god were the main characters in that one. Plus, what is so Christian about flying whales?
