Why was the "death to" exclamation made in both this movie and Videodrome? Is there supposed to be a connection between the two?

Its only because this movie is the exact same subject as videodrome this is all most a remake of it

I'd say the connection is the fear we may get lost in the new media. First television then video games.

I wish he'd do a third movie on getting lost in the internet. Death to Internet Explorer!
