Alex Burton - Pyro / Sex Abuse Allegations against Director

Came across documentary An Open Secret, and from there further online information... reported claims in New York Post that Alex Burton got the role as Pyro after "hot tub session" with director Bryan Singer.

Alexander Burton/Pyro in this film, sued and won sex abuse case against Digital Entertainment Network (DEN) founders: Marc Collins-Rector, Chad Shackley and Brock Pierce. Marc Collins-Rector is a convicted child sex offender. Bryan Singer was a key investor in DEN, claims by victims that he was close with sex offender Marc Collins-Rector, attendant at their underage sex parties and that Singer raped young child actors in order for them to receive movie roles.

2014 cases against Singer were settled outside of court by lawyer Jeff Herman. One accuser, Michael Egan, retains the right to re-try his case if he can find a lawyer ... anyone else following this / know any recent updates / thoughts / feelings ?
