Like Landau

It's always fun to see Martin show up at the pub to "fill-in" Mulder about the reality of the conspiracy.ML does a bang-up job every time he appears on the screen. Back in the day, when I met Mr. Landau, he was a most gracious gentleman and was fun to speak with(he and Jas.Dean were pals in nyc).Glad he won his well deserved Oscar for "Ed Wood."

Agreed. IMO, Mr. Landau was definitely a positive addition to the overall cast list of The X-Files.

He was terrific in the movie. So was John Neville.

Just re-watched this last night for the first time since 1998...for some reason Landau made me laugh. He was sort of out of place in the rest of the cast, because everyone else talks in such a joyless, flat manner...and he seems to have such energy and excitement. Because of that his character seemed slightly unhinged to me, but probably just because of the context.

For some reason the movie didn't hold up for me on rewatch. And I am a die-hard xfiles fan. *sigh* maybe I'm just getting old.

Prostitute: What the *beep* are you doing?
Johnny: I'm gonna kill a bunch of people.

I loved all the scenes with him, especially the one in the alley ("they've been working on this for 50 years"). I wish he could have been in the show, even if in a flashback.
