Edy's "Wild Wild West Sundae" Ice Cream
Does anyone remember the Edy's "Wild Wild West Sundae" ice cream that came out the summer of '99? I'll never forget! I couldn't remember the exact ingredients so I did a Google search and turned up a newspaper article from June 22 1999 where it describes the ice cream as "Edy's delicious double-churned vanilla ice cream, a fudge swirl, and caramel-filled milk chocolate nuggets. The nuggets are in three different shapes taken from the film (the "Wild Wild West" logo; West and Gordon's train "The Wanderer"; and the 80 foot Tarantula used by the evil Dr. Loveless)." I had a good laugh at that description. Anyway, I wouldn't have written a post about it except it was really, really good ice cream and I was pissed that it went away. I was still too young at that point to understand promotional tie-ins and how they only last a couple months.
