Plot hole? Spoiler!

The following is posted on the "goofs" section:

All of the money was in Sam's account and with Suzie supposedly being dead, there is no way her name would have been on it.

I disagree.

1) Suzie orchestrated the entire thing. 2) Sam Knew she wasn't really dead.
3) The attorney Bowden was brought into it by Suzie and was in on it from the get go. 4) Bowden is the one who had the money as he brings to Suzie - not Sam - at the end. 5) It would explain why Suzie has no fear of Sam doing her in too after he kills Douquette on the boat. He needed her to get to the money.

6) So Suzie used the photos that started the whole thing in motion to keep Sam in line (aka sign the check). After it was signed the attorney could have easily placed it in a numbered account with her name and then with the money being in her name she still had total control over Sam.

She doesn't need Sam for access to the money so she pretends to not know how to sail to get Sam to let down his guard and drink the poison after she gets him to bump off Douquette.

I think, per her plan, the money was placed in her name in that numbered account and not his.

Wheels of justice click slowly. Charges would have to be filed against her and she would be afforded her day in court. Either she was killed before all this went down or she could have been arrested (off screen) that day and was out on bail awaiting trial when she was killed. It was clear in the Limo (after Sam's trial?) the perjury was an issue they were going to face with Kelly.
