It is Adam Sandler at his absolute peak. It's hilarious, sweet, and one of the best period pieces of the 90's.
A 6.8 is insulting, and if this wasn't a "Adam Sandler movie" it would have an 8 on IMDb.

shareAgreed. I just rewatched this after having not seen it in years. I watch and enjoy as many types of films as possible from all over the world. This one is simply sweet, hilarious and beautiful, regardless of who's in it, or how popular it was, or is. I'm happy to call it one of my favorite films of the 90s.

I love the 80's too and the soundtrack is great.
I don't think many people would list an Adam Sandler movie as one their favourites, but I think this is an exception.
I think people that didn't grow up in the 80s don't appreciate it the same.
shareAgreed! Definitely my personal favorite Adam Sandler movie,along with Happy Gilmore and Punch Drunk Love. I also love whenever Adam is in a film with Drew Barrymore;they're just so sweet together.
shareDrew and Adam are great together in 50 First Dates but not so much in Blended. It's become one of my faves.
